Championship Section
Yorkshire's premier brass band competition. A qualifying contest for the finals of the National
Brass Band Championships of Great Britain with sixty bands competing across five sections.
The winners and runner-up from each segment will represent Yorkshire at the finals. The finest
bands in Britain such as Black Dyke, Brighouse and Rastrick, Grimethorpe Colliery and Cartlton
Main Frickley compete in the Championship section. Closely fought competition and unforgettable
musical performances guaranteed.
